Australia Day is coming up this Thursday! We love to support local manufacturing of furniture in Adelaide and Melbourne where ever we can. Unfortunately, a lot of our furniture is manufactured overseas so that our prices can remain competitive, but we still like to promote our locally upholstered and fabricated products to support Australians with specialised skills. A great way to support local production is by customising your furniture with your own selection of fabrics. Our imported BDH165 barstools are a great price for a modern kitchen stool (and the BDH175 as the commercial barstool version); but we also offer the option of having the seats upholstered in your choice of fabric which gets produced locally.

Lake Mountain Alpine Resort has selected Concept Collections above other suppliers to fit out and supply commercial furniture for their new building which now attracts up to a 1000+ visitors a week.

The contract consisted of dining chairs, tables, barstools, banquet seating, ottomans, and stainless steel outdoor settings.

Marketing Manager, Trudi Ackerman, is impressed with their selection and mentioned that the dining areas looks great, and since the opening they have already had a wedding take place and several bookings have also been taken.

I went for a drive up to Kuitpo yesterday to visit the K1 Cellar Door as I was dropping off some drybar bases for Geoff and Bec. WOW! That place is amazing. After driving past the tall trees of the Kuitpo Forest, you are greeted by a beautiful driveway toward the cellar door that is situated on the edge of a large dam. The vineyards spread across 30 hectares and produce beautiful South Australian wines, which I look forward to sampling at the Cellar Door Wine Festival tonight at the Adelaide Convention Centre. For anyone who has not been there, you must visit – and they do host limited functions in case you wanted to book! Last year, they had the ODH061 outdoor chairs delivered in the Arctic Ice colour (right in image) – check them out on when you’re there!

Thanks to Bronwyn and her crew at the Adelaide Oval for assisting us unload the 840x DDH132 function chairs that were delivered on Monday.

The DDH132 dining chair is normally only available in Black, Off White, and Dark Brown, but for volume orders, we can have them made up in your preferred colour as the Adelaide Oval has done with this colour.

Our new folding chair has been released in three colours and is perfect for hiring companies and function venues. The ODH004 features:
